The boathouse on this estate is amazing especially the decking around it. There is a separate page on the site detailing the comprehensive work they did to the gardenswell worth a read.

I first heard about Juan Grimm during Monty Don’s excellent series: Around the world in 80 Gardens also an excellent book (Around-World-80-Gardens-Complete).
On that episode they profiled Juan’s garden called Los Vilos at his house outside Santiago. This has to be one of the most amazing gardens I have ever seen, the way it blends seamlessly into the landscape and uses natural rock pools as features…genius.
