EU Cookies Directive

Story in today’s Irish Times about this, new EU legislation that was due for implementation yesterday EU wide. At the moment it is not exactly clear what this means for Irish websites that use cookies. The assistant data commissioner Gary Davis is quoted in the IT article as saying that they will be publishing guidelines soon.
