Raymond Loewy, the father of industrial design, is celebrated in this article in Wired magazine. He had some interesting quotes that seem to be very applicable to Apple, in particular his motto: "Between two products equal in price, function and quality, the better looking will outsell the other."He originated the concept of MAYA: Most Advanced, Yet Acceptable.
